System-Wide Pressure Monitoring with Low-Resolution Data

System-Wide Pressure Monitoring with Low-Resolution Data

Advancements in technology have made it easier and less costly to gather pressure data. Large bulky sensor panels are being replaced with water meters that include pressure sensors and rugged sensor gateways that fit anywhere you need to collect data. While these economical devices may not deliver the hundreds of reads per second like traditional pressure monitoring, they deliver five-minute and hourly low-resolution data, extending visibility to the entire distribution system and enabling the water utility to take control of pressure management and incident triage.

This webinar, given with the Walla Walla, Washington Water Utility, will provide examples of how low-resolution data can be used to change how utilities monitor and maintain their water distribution system.
