Description

The compact PolluStat® thermal energy meter is used to measure energy consumption in heating or cooling circuits. Due to its high-precision flow sensor, the application range reaches from district heating to consumption billing for individual apartments.

Integrated data logger

Hourly, daily and monthly measurement values are stored in the meter’s memory. All data from the archive can be read only by means of remote reading.  You can also view the last month’s data logger records on the display.

All parameter values are recorded in the heat meter’s memory. The data logger capacity is:

  • Up to 960 h – for hourly records
  • Up to 1116 days – for daily records
  • Up to 36 last months – for monthly records

The archive data storage time is no less than 36 months and it keeps the stored data even if the device is disconnected from the power supply.

Specifications

Regarding remote meter reading and data communication the following modules are available:

  • M-Bus according to EN 1434-3I
  • Integrated data logger
  • 2 bounce-free output pulses or inputs
  • Approval in class 2 according to EN 1434, measuring range (minimum to nominal flow) of 1 : 100 in horizontal and vertical position

For electronic reading and connection to building management systems a upgrade plug-in module is available for PolluStat:

  • M-Bus according to EN 13757-3
  • This plug-in module allows reading the meter via its primary or secondary address with an M-Bus level converter (2400 Baud). If required the M-Bus addresses can be changed at the meter itself.
  • Integrated remote reading pulses energy and volume
  • The meter provides bounce free remote reading pulses, which can be fed to a remote totalizer.
