Held February 23-26 in Orlando, the conference brings together electric cooperatives with technology providers, like Sensus, to help them reduce operating costs and improve system reliability and customer service.

Attendees can see live demonstrations of Sensus VantagePoint, the latest advancement in intelligent lighting control that enables customers to remotely monitor and control street and area lights. VantagePoint includes a lighting control module and lighting control software that leverage the Sensus FlexNet™ system to provide utilities with the information they need to save money and improve public safety.

The Sensus FlexNet system is a long-range radio network that serves as a dedicated and secure two-way communications highway for utilities designed to support current and future applications. TechAdvantage attendees can visit the Sensus booth to learn about metering, distribution automation, demand response and lighting control.

Attendees can learn about the benefits of data analytics by attending the panel discussion “What You Don’t Know Can Help You” on Wednesday, February 25 from 9:45 – 11:00 a.m. Brian Crow, vice president of analytic solutions at Sensus, will discuss how data analytics helps utilities realize maximum value of their investment in communication networks and advanced applications.
